Opis pracy

Nethone is seeking a highly motivated DevOps expert to join our company in a team leader role. The successful candidate will join a team of professionals working on a set of ongoing projects that support a stable product in a phase of dynamic business growth. The person sought will be taking an active part in planning and participate in scaling of the entire project in all its aspects, as well as strengthening a team by guiding and leading its members, planning career paths and improving the hiring process.

Team Profile
- Size: 4-6 people
- One of a couple of technical teams that together are working on a single product
- Main responsibility: end to end delivery (design, implementation, deployment, maintenance, users support, monitoring, including on-call duty, promotion of good usage practices) of: application layer deployment platform (Kubernetes clusters and virtual machines for non-container-orchestrated deployments on cloud environments), including logging, metrics and alerting platforms, selected cloud services supporting developer team application workflows, etc, internal ticketing and CI/CD system, auxiliary services
- Key stack components: AWS, Kubernetes, Cloudformation, Ansible, Gitlab
- Strong focus on the security aspects of the platform - infrastructure and application layers within the company are built in the context of standards like PCI DSS, OWASP ASVS, ISO/IEC 27001, etc.

You will be responsible for
- performing the role of a technical team leader, including oversight and guidance over the architectural design and hands-on work on chosen tasks
- collaborating with product and technical stakeholders to understand their business deliverables and manage the team to help them - achieve priority objectives and remove their blockers
- managing and providing direction to team members in terms of competences, work organization, good practices as well as be actively involved in planning and executing tasks as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems
- taking care of communication within the team and represent the team in the Nethone forum
