Opis pracy

You are a highly motivated stellar software engineer working with both external clients and our internal tech stack in software architecture, troubleshooting, and system design. This will be a focal position working with a small innovative team and be part of building the big thing - autonomous store!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality code to be deployed directly and quickly at the client site. You will be able to interact with clients directly and design solutions to address their urgent needs. You will be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code that can handle millions of autonomous transactions on daily basis! You will work with a stellar and dedicated team to create one of the world's most cutting edge autonomous store system.

Responsibilities
You will develop closely with our clients. Deploy, debug and develop features that will meet client's urgent needs and incorporate any client's feedback to enhance AiFi's core system modules.

You will be the go-to-expert and core developer for AiFi's full stack OASIS platform. You can quickly identify issues in API, frontend, backend, operational tools, HW issues, as well as issues associated with our computer vision and sensing modules. You will ensure timely feature deliveries and full cycle deployment at our client sites.

Qualifications and Skills
Deep understanding of operating systems and operating system internals; Systems level experience of the Linux operating system - user mode and kernel mode; Experience with distributed programming at scale

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code. Experience defining infrastructure as code using Terraform. Experience with Python, Go, and C++.

An understanding of modern DevOps/SRE concepts. Automation, configuration management, immutability, observability, Site Reliability.

Excellent writer and communicator. You are excellent at diagramming architecture, documenting recommendations, and communicating them to coworkers and stakeholders.

Networking and distributed programming is a must as our systems are distributed, highly performant, and excessively scalable, Designing and developing systems applications that are fault-tolerant is required to achieve 99.99% uptime

You must have the courage and experience to be frank and ambitious but humble enough to listen and learn; You should be someone with ideas and passion for software delivered as a service to maximize reuse, efficiency, and simplicity

BS/MS/PhD in EECS or Mathematics or equivalent years of experience
