Opis pracy

Client: banking industry

Hourly Rate: up to 120 PLN + VAT

Work arrangement: 1 day per week from the office (Warsaw), full-time

For our Client from banking industry we are looking for Senior Azure Cloud Specialist.

In this position you will be collaborating closely with Cloud Engineering (governance, security, architecture & design) team running projects & defining infrastructure’s future and the external company doing most of daily support operation work from India. You will focus on reducing the number and duration of major incidents, resource optimization (people's work, servers, licenses, etc.).

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Show an advanced understanding of Azure technologies, virtualization operations and governance with a focus on automation, analysis, modification and testing of cloud services
• Design, build, implement and maintain automation in order to optimize virtualization platform spend, identify and remediate security risks and safeguard compliance across cloud platform.
• Identifies, verifies and remediates inconsistent configurations
• Implement proactive health checks and internal audits to ensure comprehensive and reliable monitoring coverage
• Construct, improve and maintain automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
• Usage of source code management tool (GitHub) to manage code lifecycle

Must-have skills required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure (AWS, GCP will be a plus)
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Ability to use scripting languages and APIs to facilitate cloud automation
• Experience with “Well-Architected Framework” principals, infrastructure as code practices - Terraform and agile development methodologies
• Working knowledge of JIRA, DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices.
• Inter-cultural understanding and experience
• Skilled at daily IT management
• Skilled at planning and controlling IT operations
• Have proficiency in English, spoken and written B2
• Experienced with working for a financial institution
