Opis pracy

SwingDev is part of a fast-growing insurtech company from Silicon Valley, listed on NYSE – Hippo Insurance. Our technology-first approach is modernizing the otherwise stale home insurance industry, from IOT monitoring devices to our industry-leading software 🚀

• Lead a team of 5-8 QA engineers with different levels of experience.
• Build a quality-driven engineering culture that helps ship high-quality products.
• Partner with the product and engineering teams to assess & improve capabilities, targeting a high-quality bar.
• Plan, develop and execute a test strategy across hippo products in close collaboration with the product & engineering team.
• Help tackle cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to improve quality.
• Implement and evolve QA processes to get effective test signal and scale testing efforts across multiple products.
• Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of our products.
• Mentor QA engineers, and develop them for higher impact and teamwork.

• 5+ years of hands-on manual/automation testing experience in technical fast-moving environments.
• People management experience.
• Relentless focus on end-users and creating customer-centric solutions.
• Proven ability to build a team, develop people, and influence cross-functional peers and management.
• Adaptability to increased scope of work, agility to switch around among various areas of impact.
• Understanding of testing strategies including technologies for automated testing.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
