Project Overview

Join our Rite NRG team as a .NET Developer and contribute to the integration of two key internal systems for a leading global company specializing in business payments and expense management. The project focuses on streamlining operations related to fuel cards, business credit cards, and EV solutions in the UK market.

This is a 3-month engagement with the possibility of an extension. The team includes two backend developers, a project manager, and a tester, working in a Scrum framework. We offer flexible work arrangements, with the option to contribute either full-time or part-time (at least 50% commitment).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and APIs using .NET Core/6.
• Integrate two internal systems to streamline business payment and expense management processes.
• Work with SQL Server to develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data models.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including developers, a project manager, and a tester, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues.
• Follow best practices for software development, including code reviews, version control, and automated testing.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to backend development and system integration.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a .NET Developer.
• Developing and modifying .NET Core APIs – building and enhancing services and endpoints.
• Integrating with third-party APIs and internal systems.
• Working with Azure (Repos, Pipelines, Key Vault, Application Insights).
• Database performance optimization, experience with SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Redis, and Snowflake.
• Experience with Docker and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Delivering in Agile environments – iterating for continuous improvement and business value.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Polish and a communicative level of English (B2+) are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of React/Next.js (frontend stack).
• Experience with headless CMS (e.g., ContentStack).
