Opis pracy

For our long-term (4+ years) client, based in Saudi Arabia, we're looking for a Head of Engineering with excellent knowledge of PHP Laravel. 

Job description

• Lead a team of seven programmers 
• Select and implement suitable technology to streamline business goals
• Design and customize technological systems, architecture and platforms to improve customer experience
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes
• Monitor KPIs and team performance and performa general code review
• Coach engineers and enhance their performance 

Requirements and skills

• Excellent knowledge of PHP Laravel, Javascript knowledge is a plus 
• Proven experience as a Head of Engineers, CTO, Team Leader or similar role
• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership and organizational abilities
• Problem-solving aptitude
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, or Engineering

Other

• Remote but requires travel to Saudi Arabia at least once each quarter (1-2 week stays, expenses covered)
• Native or fluent Polish required 
• Stock options available
• You can work completely remotely but you're also welcome to work from our offices in Warsaw.
