Hippo Insurance is a fast-growing InsurTech company from Silicon Valley. In Poland, we've successfully developed tech teams in brunch known as SwingDev a hippo company, in recent years. This year, we're also opening a business hub – Hippo Poland.

Right now, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team! In your role, you will be tasked with optimizing a critical process within the insurance sector, specifically focusing on underwriting. 

• You’ll gather, analyze, and aggregate business and functional requirements.  
• You’ll prioritize tracking potential issues by staying on top of the system enhancements.  
• You'll monitor the “health” of systems that we use daily.  
• You’ll engage in effective communication with technical and product stakeholders.  
• You’ll collaborate closely with engineers to test, develop, and employ new technologies in the underwriting process.  
• You’ll create detailed guidelines for the development team.  

• 3+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience in a Business Analyst role or similar position.  
• Basic SQL knowledge.  
• Skilled in researching, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. 
• Ability to understand the technical requirements & insurance manuals – analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving approach will be helpful here. 
• Solid understanding of technology to link business objectives with software requirements.
