Location: Remote within Poland

Project: System migration for a large-scale data platform in the energy domain


Key Technologies:

Project Overview

We're contributing to a 5-year transformation initiative for a client in the energy and infrastructure space. The project focuses on migrating a mission-critical, data-heavy platform from public cloud to a secure on-premise setup. You’ll work in a distributed team of experts, ensuring quality through test strategy, automation, and continuous delivery processes.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
  • Create and maintain structured documentation (user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, etc.)
  • Act as a liaison between business and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews
  • Support QA and development teams in understanding the scope and intent of features
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of requirement management processes

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in requirements engineering or business analysis.
  • Experience working on large engineering teams or complex IT projects.
  • Hands-on Python programming experience.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment.
  • Experience with DevOps automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience in writing clear and structured technical documentation: user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and system specifications.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Enterprise Architect, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of UML/BPMN for modeling processes and system behavior.
  • AWS experience is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in Polish and an advanced level of English (B2/C1).
