Founded in 2017, Unit8 is a fast-growing Swiss AI and data analytics company dedicated to solving complex problems of traditional industries like automotive, chemical, financial services, manufacturing and pharma. Are You the team member we are looking for?
Unit8 is looking for an Implementation Strategist in AI & Analytics to join our growing Digital & AI Consulting Practice in Krakow. The purpose of our Implementation Strategists is to support our data scientists, data engineers, and our clients with a holistic data & AI expertise. You will have the opportunity to accompany the implementation of data centric solutions that provide business value. You will drive the the whole lifecycle from business development to project implementation and client relationship building.

This position has similarities to a Product Owner / Product Manager / Project Manager role.



What You’ll Do
Your role can evolve and will depend on our clients’ and internal challenges. In general, you will:

-interact with our clients to understand their data-related challenges and related tech and business questions they need to answer ; going from “what the business workflow is” to “which table in this database contains the right data”
-collaborate with our data scientists, data engineers and IT architects on the implementation of impactful data-based solutions, generating high business value ; being pro-active to make sure we deliver what we commit to
-learn new tools and improve your technical skills by being exposed to a variety of tools (e.g. Python, Spark, Azure, Palantir Foundry) ; getting your hands dirty
-draft requirements and project scopes by navigating through vague needs while steering the efforts in the right direction; decomposing the problem in smaller pieces that are actionable and understandable
-work hand-in-hand with our clients on their path to become data-driven companies, e.g. by identifying data-driven use cases and a defining an impactful implementation roadmap, or training their users on solutions the team buil

Requirements
You Are:
-motivated to be a team player, to join a fast-paced environment and to step out of your comfort zone
-experienced in advising clients on data-based topics such as (advanced) analytics, machine learning, data platforms and cloud
-able to quickly identify and prioritise business challenges and provide innovative and relevant solutions, either during an ongoing client project or in business development activities
-talented in building lasting relationships to clients and team members
-experienced with a programming language (e.g. Python, R, SQL) and you understand data systems and architectures
-fluent in English (French, German, or any other languages would be an advantage)
-a Swiss national, holding an unrestricted Swiss work permit, or an EU/EFTA national
